This is the formal notification of the AGM, to be held at Marconi Athletic Club, Chelmsford on Saturday 16th February 2019, along with the minutes of last year's meeting.
Could secretaries please circulate this information to club members, ensuring that members know that the AGM is open to all members of ECAA. It would be great to have a really good turnout. After all, we do this for the archers.
Part of this is the election of the Officers of the Association, the nomination forms for both executive and non executive officer roles, and for the various awards which are presented at the AGM.
Could secretaries please ensure that these are discussed with your committee and any nominations are sent to the relevant person.
Baldwin Trophy - a person who has done most to enhance the sport during the past year e.g. Coaching, Judging, Tournament Organising etc
Davidson Trophy - an archer who has overcome an adversity of any nature to continue in the sport, whether in administration, coaching, judging, tournament organising, etc
Graham Sibley Memorial Trophy - Clubs may nominate any member whom they consider has assisted their club in whatever way is felt appropriate to be recognised. (for example: long service, continued development of a club, stepping in when others would not, always offering assistance in any capacity, etc.)
Griggs Trophy - The award shall be presented at the annual general meeting to the archer who has shot consistently well in at least six MB status tournaments, preferably outside the county and whose general standing reflects credit on the county and the archer?
Ludorum Trophy - Awarded to the Senior archer who has the highest achievements across all the Senior County Championships
Millenium Trophy - Awarded to the Junior archer who has the highest achievements across all the Junior County Championships
Executive Officer Nominations - Nominations for Vice President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and General Member
Non-Executive Officer Nominations - Nominations for everyone else, the records officers, tournament organisers, team management, league secretaries, equipment officer and webmaster
